Bernie Hore
William Bernard "Bernie" Hore (2 June 1916 – 15 October 1994) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Hore, a defender, could also play as a ruckman and came to Geelong from New South Wales. He made most of his appearances in 1937 and 1938, playing 19 games in each year.〔(AFL Tables: Bernie Hore )〕 In the 1937 VFL Grand Final win over Collingwood, Hore had 21 kicks from the back pocket.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=1937 VFL Grand Final: Geelong vs. Collingwood )〕 He also played for Victorian Football Association club Coburg, crossing without a clearance in 1941 during the throw-pass era,. and he missed the 1941 Grand Final through suspension.
